Ollie holds the British Canoeing Advanced Canoe Coach Awards (the highest level of coaching), holds an Advanced First Aid Certificate, Advanced Whitewater Rescue award and even has a Royal Humane Society Award for saving a member of the public from drowning in a flooded River Wye.
Experience
Ollie has been paddling and working in the outdoor industry for over seventeen years. Ollie has gained a huge amount of experience over the years from leading expeditions with thirty six kids into the Canadian wilderness to leading groups up to sixty people down the Ardèche in France to running ecological kayak tours in New Zealand. Ollie has a wealth of experience working with a wide range of clients providing intro sessions and experiences through to providing the most advanced canoeing qualifications.
Entertainment
Ollie has spent years working with a wide range of groups whether that be families, schools or corporate groups and catered to meet their wants and needs. Armed with plenty of games, a good knowledge of wildlife, local knowledge and history and many years of coaching Ollie’s able to create an unforgettable entertaining experience on the water for you and your group.
Stress free
Canoeing shouldn’t be stressful, we’ll ensure you have the skills so you don’t zig-zag your way down the river and you’re in control in the conditions whether that’s on a rapid or paddling into a bit of wind. If you’re off on a longer trip we’ll ensure you’ve got the technique to avoid aching arms the next day.
